It has been a bit quiet here. Our friendly enemy mister/miss Co. turned out to be a big non-digital bug. The good news is that we're alive, kicking and playing. And in the future on multiple platforms; on PC with the Composition Game, on smartphone with The Infinity Games app, and at the (kitchen)table with a card game. 

The Composition Game is not far from its next update, with improved touch support and stop-motion animation.

The smartphone app and cardgame are in development. 


AUGMENTED REALITY

Since May we've been testing Augemented Reality. You can access and try via this tespage.

In the future you'll be able to make your own 3D Masterpiece and directly open it on your phone in Augmented Reality. 

Participate in the Artscene series.

GALICNIK

October 21, 2019

Over the summer Marie Bink participated in an art residency in the village Galicnik in Macedonia with the Infinity Games. The activities consisted of a performance workshop with the other artists/participants, an animation workshop with the kids, Augmented Reality Portraits of local inhabitants and a short documentary interview. The results were shown during an exhibition retrospective of 30 years of this residency held in the Multi Media building of The National Gallery in the capital Skopje.

The final work is a triptych: 1. online works 2. An audiovisual shortfilm 3. A documentary-short

TYPEWRITERS IN PARADISE

Typewriter historian Jos Legrand (1948) published multiple magazines and articles on the topic over the years. Yesterday he ended a project called 'The Paradise Tribune', an online journal send over email to some 60 typewriter addicts. But there's good news! It won't completely dissapear. A new composition have been added to the Infinity Games Gallery, a special home for typewriters. Feel free to add knowledge and nice comments here:

A NEW GAME

We're testing a new version of the Composition Game. It will be online within a couple of weeks.

With this new version you can start using pictures from the Collections. You can use them in cool designs and art pieces, to create assignments or to visualize and discuss topics.

EIDOLON FESTIVAL

During EIDOLON festival in Hasselt, i-Collective tried the first real interactive performance! Audience was controlling the tempo through a mobile app.

 











Afterwards Dr. Jerry Spanakis presented first results of the research done by Adam Vandor on which features are decisive in judging whether a composition is harmonic or not. Rule of thirds, Entropy, Gravitational Pull are featured in a long list of at least 31 different features!
